So I have done this, I went onto piktochart and then I made a poster all about my family culture. My family that has more of a culture is on my Mum's side , and my mum is from Malaysia. In Malaysian culture it has many cool things that to you do. And one of them is called Ramadan and it is basically were you do fasting . And last year my sister I think she did a incredible job, shout out to you Nadia.
What I found easy was basically writing down everything, what I found hard was finding a way to write it down for you guys to understand what i'm trying say. For this post I think it was very fun for me because I like to share my own culture with people. Also if your wondering what Salam means it means hello.
This activity has been my favorite so far, it is because I get to share what I sometimes do with my family in my spare time. I Hope you guys like this post and now here is the poster:
Here is some images of what the stuff is on the poster:

Kia ora Jordan,
ReplyDeleteGreat work on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity. There is only one more week left to get those activities done and gain those points so keep blogging and commenting.
What a bright, creative and very informative post you have created about your culture. I love how much detail you have put into it. I feel like I have learnt a lot about your culture. I didn't know that you had to fast during the day during Ramadan, do you find that hard? Hari Raya sounds like that must be a fun celebration with your family. What foods do you eat during this celebration?
Until next time, happy blogging :)
Emma
Hello Again Emma,
DeleteThanks for the extraordinary comment, actually I don't do ramadan but this year I would maybe try it. I don't actually remember what foods. But if I do I will come back to you. Also ramadan happens every year it hasn't happened yet.
What do you do with your family?
- Jordan :)
Hello Jordan,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Vitaraag and I am participating in the Summer Learning Journey this year. WOW! What an informative blog post you have created. I really like how you added images to help us understand your culture more. I also really like how you made this blog post really detailed. I actually don't know my family's language. The reason being I was born in a different country. One of out most famous celebrations is called Dushai (Sorry I don't know how to spell it). It is were adults also give kids money. How much money do you get? This is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!
Vitaraag
Hello again Vitaraag,
DeleteThanks for yet another comment, Well it really depends how old you are, but most of the time for me I get 5 to 10 dollars. And I don't know about the older children but I think it is similar to how much I normally get.
What have done for this school holidays with your family?
