If you could choose someone to give a Nobel Prize to, who would it be? Why would you choose them? Remember, they need to be extraordinary!
On your blog, tell us who you would give a Nobel Prize to and why.
So I choose to make a canva poster and wrote the because of why I want that person to get a Nobel prize. I also asked my mum if I could, add a image and she said yes.
What I found hard was thinking why she should get the award. What I found easy was adding the text adding the text once I know what I need to write. If you would like to try the canva app here is the link: Canva. Since this is the second to last week for the SLJ I Will now do the question of the day on every post.
Question of the day: who would you give a noble prize to ?
I did two pages so here is the images:
Hello Jordan,
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing choice! I have never though about that. Oh, by the way, I am Vitaraag and I am participating in the Summer Learning Journey this year. I am from the Ako Hiko cluster. I really like how you used Canva to help you. I also really like how you included a picture of your mum. I also 100% agree with you. Moms are people who make you who you are today. Maybe next time you could add a bit of back story to the activity. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!

Hey Jordan!
ReplyDeleteIt's me again :) congratulations on writing another amazing post, I'm super impressed! I hope your holidays are going well!
I love that you would choose your mother to win a Nobel Prize Jordan that is very sweet! You've really gone above and beyond with this post, not only explaining the task in depth, but also creating a poster using Canva, including a photo of your mother AND encouraging your readers to try using Canva themselves! Fantastic work!
Do you think in future posts you could include just a short explanation (no more than a sentence or two) explaining to your viewers what the Summer Learning Journey is? It's just that some people may have come across your blog through a link to specific a post and might not know about it. This would be very helpful!
As for your question, I think there are a lot of people who deserve one! You see, Nobel Prizes can't be awarded posthumously (after death). There was a British chemist named Rosalind Frank who died before receiving hers, but her associates were rewarded. She was the first person to discover a way to photograph DNA, which lead to the ground breaking discovery of it's structure. Her work was very important and I think she definitely should have gotten a Nobel Prize!
Do you think it's fair that people who deserve a Nobel Prize can't be awarded one if they pass away?
Well done once again Jordan! Have a great day and enjoy the remainder of your time away from school :)
Hi again Natasha!
ReplyDeleteI think that is not fair if you receive when you have passed because you won't really be able to feel proud of your self cause your not there to have it.
How has your holidays been? Have you done anything fun? Have a good day!
