Sophie Pascoe ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿผ‍♂️

Kia Ora Readers!

This week for p.e we have been researching about New Zealand paralympians. One paralympian my teacher told my class to research about was Sophie Pascoe. As well as researching about Sophie Poscoe we also had to make a slideshow including facts about her.  Here is a website I used to research about Sophie Pascoe that my teacher recommended: Paralympics New Zealand

This first thing I did was research about Sophie, somethings that I couldn't find on the website I just searched up on google. While I was making this slideshow I thought carefully about how I was answering the questions so that the answers all make sense. After I finished answering all the questions I made sure every answer was detailed. Then I included images and made the slideshow look more attractive to readers.

Here is the slide I made:

Thank you for reading I hope you enjoy my slideshow and enjoyed my blog post.

D.L.O ( Digital learning object) about habitat destruction

 Hello my fellow readers!

This term in Mrs Jones inqury group we have been foucsing on endangered animals. The first thing we did was watch videos about endangered animals and what has happened. Next we  learn't how animals get endangered. After that we looked at imformation about endangered animals and we had to do a slideshow about endangered animals. for the last two weeks we have been learning about habitat destruction, and  making a D.L.O ( digital learning object) about habitat destruction and facts about it. We needed to include how habitat destruction is caused, what will effects does it give to the habitats, etc. Once we finished our D.L.O ( digital learning object) we need to blog! What I found challenging was adding lots of detail, making sure everthing  made since was very easy.  Have you ever made a D.L.O ( digital learning object) before?

Think about it Thursday- Does anything live forever?

Hey Readers!

Today for think about it Thursday with Miss W, we had to think about if we think any animals live forever. First we had to make a copy of a google drawing and then add any animals we think live forever. Then we had to find a emoji think face. Next we went onto this website and had to watch a video of a guy saying that there is a animal that does live forever. Here is the link to the website: Can anything live forever?.

After that we had to add something we learnt about the animal and a new word we learnt. The animal that lives forever is called: immortal jellyfish, this type of jelly fish is invisible and it can even fit into a little jar. Once we added what we learnt we had to do a quiz, and it was pretty tricky. I got  33 the first time then I did it again and I got 100 the next time I did it.

My favourite part of the activity was watching the video. My second favourite was doing the google drawing, I definitely think you guys should try the website out. Did you know one of the oldest immortal jelly fish is 500 years old and its called Ming? Did you guys learn something from this post?

I also have attached some photos bellow!

Activity 3: Own Choice

Hey readers this is another SLJ post,
So today for my post I have chosen the own choice one so for this post I had to find someone to explain about.  For my person I choose a youtuber because that is  the easiest thing for me to
do it about.I made a flipsnack and I put some facts on to it.

When I was doing this I had to do some research about the youtuber.
It was fun because I really enjoyed making it, and I found it challenging because  It was my first time doing using flipsnack and I wanted to challenge myself. If you would like to try to use flipsnack here is a link: Flipsnack:https://www.flipsnack.com/

What I found easy was challenge myself what I found hard was figuring out how the app works. Here is my work:
