Last Math post in lockdown

Hey Readers!
Today In Mrs Jones hangout we had our last lesson of math in lockdown. So first we did a quiz about how much we now know about time. And I got one wrong out of 9 I think I got one wrong because it was a bit tricky.  after that we played a game of bingo. This type of bingo is with time and Mrs Jones calls a time out. And if we have the time we cover it up with a shape. So first we had to go on the first slide, next we  wrote our name on a slide number.

Then Mrs Jones told us the first time. I got 5 times covered. Please comment down bellow.

5 minute intervals

Hey Readers!
Today since I finished my activity from last week Miss W let me do a screencastify of me explain  two five minute intervals.  So I choose to do it about the two most hardest times to tell. I went onto my slide then I got my first time I was gonna explain.

Once I finished the screencastify I waited for it to finish uploading.  After that I did this post. Here is a link to teaching clock: Teaching clock. Please comment down bellow.

5 minute intervals

Kia Ora Readers!

Today with Miss W in our maths hangout we did our telling time. So first we got to play bingo I got three times covered. The bingo was sort of challenging, after that we did this 5 minute interval task. We had to make a copy of a slide then go onto this website called teaching clock, here is the link to it: Teaching clock. For  the slides we had to have the same 5 minute intervals as Mrs Jones example but with a different hour .

When I did the bingo the times I got right were half past six, half past one and last but not least quarter past six.

The most challenging time to do was doing minutes to the hour, because it was tricky. What do you find is the hardest time to remember? Mine is minutes to the hour/time. My favourite bit was making the time on the teaching clock website. Do you like telling time? I do, What is your favourite time to tell? Mine is half past times.

I also attached my bingo results and the slide show bellow. Please comment.

Matching the time

Kia Ora readers, today in Mrs Jones maths hangout we did another lesson of matching time. If you didn't read my other post about doing this I'll tell you now, so we had to use the tool line to match the time to the written time. It was a bit tricky and before we started Mrs Jones did show us and explain some examples. Sorry If I got some wrong. Please comment on my blog.

5 time Intervals

Kia ora readers, today in Mrs Jones math we did a activity about time, once again. This time we have learned how we can tell in 5's what the time is, it was sort of easy. First I got onto the site went onto the slide. Then made a copy of the slide we do the work on. After I finished that Mrs Jones checked my answers, I did get some wrong but I fixed.

After all of that we had to go onto this cool clock website and practice counting in fives. Here is the link to the website: Teaching clock, my favorite part of this was learning that even though sometimes you think you get it right, it can be incorrect. My less favorite thing was trying to be sure it is ok. Feel free to comment.

Telling The Time ( Lesson four)

Hey readers, today in Mrs Jones maths group we did our fourth lesson of telling the time. This time Mrs Jones made a slide with some telling the time, we used a app called teaching clock here's the link: Time telling.  I did get some wrong but that is ok.

My favorite part was doing the challenging ones, I liked this activity today because we did more telling time on a slide. Feel free to comment readers :)

Telling The Time ( Lesson 2)

Kia Ora readers, today in Mrs Jones maths we did our second telling the time lesson. This time we have learned about half past and o'clock. First we got told what our task was to do, then we had to watch a video about o'clock time we had to give a thumbs up if we knew which time it was here is the link to the video : Time. After that we had to go onto this google drawing and drag the text box to the right o' clock time.

We also did another one which was half past, the o'clock one was easier for me. But the half past was medium hard. I also made a screencastify explaining what half past and o'clock means. The game I did in  the screencastify is called teaching clock here is the link: Teaching clock. Feel free to comment.

Telling The Time ( Lesson one)

Hi readers, today in Mrs Jones Maths group we did a lesson of telling time. I learnt about quarter past and quarter to. This was a bit challenging to remember what the numbers mean and stuff. Sorry if I got some wrong because I'm still learning to do this.

My favorite bit was learning about quarter past and quarter 2. Quarter 2 means 45 minutes and it shows there is 15 minutes to a certain time. Quarter past means 15 minutes past a certain time, for example  Quarter past ten is 10:15. My less favorite part was putting down the ones I already know.

After that I also got to play a maths game, I choose to play a game called Parking time 2, you have to park a car by using your arrows and park it at the right time. It was a bit tricky at first for me but I got the hang of it .  Here is the link to the game : Parking Time 2.  Feel free to comment.
