Telling The Time ( Lesson one)

Hi readers, today in Mrs Jones Maths group we did a lesson of telling time. I learnt about quarter past and quarter to. This was a bit challenging to remember what the numbers mean and stuff. Sorry if I got some wrong because I'm still learning to do this.

My favorite bit was learning about quarter past and quarter 2. Quarter 2 means 45 minutes and it shows there is 15 minutes to a certain time. Quarter past means 15 minutes past a certain time, for example  Quarter past ten is 10:15. My less favorite part was putting down the ones I already know.

After that I also got to play a maths game, I choose to play a game called Parking time 2, you have to park a car by using your arrows and park it at the right time. It was a bit tricky at first for me but I got the hang of it .  Here is the link to the game : Parking Time 2.  Feel free to comment.

  1. Hi Jordan.
You worked hard in our Maths Google Hangout today. I really like the way you always ask if you are not sure. I'm sorry I confused you with the wrong answer about the clock hands. It was a bit stressful having the issues with our template but I won't get that wrong again.
I really like how you have added a detailed blurb about your picture, and you have explained that you might have some answers wrong because you are still learning. Well done!

    1. Hi Mrs Jones, Thank you for the comment.
It's ok about the problem because everyone makes mistakes. Have a great day.

  2. Hi Jordan. Well done on persisting through the Maths today. Learning about time certainly is tricky and can take a while to get the hang of. You have done really well. Thanks for including the link to the game that you played, this will be helpful for others who want to play it.
