Hello Readers!
This week for maths we have been doing things differently due to lockdown and also to try something new. Each group got set tasks to do by the 8th of September. My group Waffle's task was to do page one of basic facts, page five and if you want you can try page six. Waffle also had to watch a video about multi-digit addition. In the video a guy explained how to do addition with the column up method.
In conclusion this work I was set to do by the 8th of September was too easy for me and I already knew how to use method before. Also I thought I was supposed to do page 2 so it will be including in this post. My group also has another task to do but I will post when I have completed it because I have some other work to do today.
Do you know how to do the column method to add numbers?

Hi Jordan
ReplyDeleteWell done for getting all this work done. I'm really pleased you found this work easy, because it is a refresher from what we did last week, so this shows you have remembered what you learnt earlier. Have you worked on the subtraction work yet?
You'll be pleased to know that next week we will be doing some work on multiplication which might be a bit more challenging for you, so keep working on your times tables. Don't forget to try the times tables songs at the bottom of the "Maths Videos" page of the website - get Nadia to sing them along with you, that might be good for a laugh!

Hello Mr Mitchell,
DeleteThank you for commenting on my post. I have already finished my subtraction work. I'm doing some reading plus at the moment. I still have some other work to do but I'm almost finished.
