Homemade Chocolate Brownies 🍫

Hello Readers!

For cooking, my cooking teacher set me a task to create a dish and write a blog post about it. I choose to use my sisters brownie recipe. Here are the steps:

Method:

Ingredients:

- 2 cups of dark chocolate chips

- 1 cup of regular flour

- 1 cup of brown sugar

- 1 cup of white sugar

- 1 Tablespoon of Vanilla essence

- 4 eggs

- 1 cup of cocoa powder

- 1 cup of softened butter

Utensils:

- Large mixing bowl

-  Wooden spoon/mixing spoon

- Microwave

-  Oven

- Spatula

-    Lined baking tin

-  Sieve

- Measuring cup

Steps:

1. Add softened butter with white and brown sugar into a bowl and cream.

2.  Crack one of the eggs into the mixture and mix.

3. Crack the other eggs into the mixture with the 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence, mix again.

4. Melt the 2 cups of chocolate chips in the microwave for 30 second intervals until smooth.

5.  Sift 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of cocoa powder into the mixture and mix again.

6. Add melted chocolate chips into mixture and mix until well combined

7. Put mixture into a lined baking tin.

8. Bake for 45-50 minutes in the oven at 170 degrees until fully baked.

  1. Hi Jordan. Your Homemade Chocolate Brownies look so delicious! Great to see you have included the recipe and the sequenced photos. I am sure the "taste testers" at your place were very happy to eat your baking!
How did you test the Chocolate Brownie to see if it was cooked?

    2. Hello Miss Hindson,

Thank you for commenting. My family definitely enjoyed the brownies I made. I poked a toothpick into the brownie to see if it was cooked and if it came out clean it means it's cooked but if it doesn't it means it's not ready.

  3. Hi Jordan
Ah, so these are the brownines you talked about at our Google Meet on Wednesday. They look delicious. I like the way you've listed out the recipe and included photos before it went into the oven and after. I also liked that you told us where you got the recipe from.
I agree with Mrs Hindson and Mrs Rhodes - these look delicious. I can almost taste the chocolatieness from this end of the internet!
    Well done.
