At the start of this term in hurumanu 1 we have been learning about heroes. We learn't who heroes are and how we can become a hero. One thing that I learnt about during hurumanu 1 was that you don't need a cape to be a hero. Any ways... for our task we had to write a pretend email on a google doc to the hero we wrote a story about. We had to make sure we included three questions which would be answered in more than one sentence.
As well as that we needed to included why they became your hero and good ways of explaining. Before I begun writing the pretend email I thought about how I would begin my email to Mr Beast, (one of my heroes) and how I would explain why he is my hero. Once I finished doing that I started writing the start of the email it was a little bit tricky at first but once I got more ideas it was easier.
Writing the email to my hero took me about three days to complete because I kept changing the wording and fixing the bad punctuation. Have you ever written a pretend email to someone you look up to?
