Memory/epic quiz

Kia Ora readers:) Today for reading we got to play a games, and we had to also do a quiz on epic. First we read spork on epic, then we did the quiz. I got 90% this time because it was a bit harder, here is the link to epic :Epic. Then we got to play games I choose to play a game that was like memory but it is with words. 

So how you play the game is you pick one of the rectangle things then you pick another one. The point is you have to remember where exactly is both of the same words. It does time how long it takes for you to match all the words, and at the end it shows your score. Here is the link to the  game I played: memory  Feel free to comment.

5 time Intervals

Kia ora readers, today in Mrs Jones math we did a activity about time, once again. This time we have learned how we can tell in 5's what the time is, it was sort of easy. First I got onto the site went onto the slide. Then made a copy of the slide we do the work on. After I finished that Mrs Jones checked my answers, I did get some wrong but I fixed. 

After all of that we had to go onto this cool clock website and practice counting in fives. Here is the link to the website: Teaching clock, my favorite part of this was learning that even though sometimes you think you get it right, it can be incorrect. My less favorite thing was trying to be sure it is ok. Feel free to comment. 

Why I think leaves change color.

Hey readers, today with Miss W we have done a padlet. We had to watch some videos to get some ideas, we also had to add our prior knowledge. First we got a leaf from outside next we watched the videos. After that we added our info. I have added a picture of my prior knowledge. Feel free to comment.

How much do you know about me ?

Hey readers, yesterday afternoon I made a quiz. It's about how much you know about me. My favorite bit was adding the colors. I didn't really know how to add the answer  for awhile but I found out in the end. This quiz might be a bit tricky for you but you can guess. First I went onto drive then I started my form. I did have to think hard for most of the questions.

Animaker

Hey readers, today with Miss W we went onto animaker and made a character.  Here is the link if you want to use animaker: Animaker. I enjoyed making it but I didn't know how to find the character once I saved it. My favorite part was making it, my less favorite bit was finding how to find it once it was saved. Drawing Of Girl With Cap

Kia Ora readers, yesterday I decided to do some drawing. So I went onto youtube and searched up how to draw a girl. And  I found a cool tutorial of a girl with a BTS cap on. So I choose to do it , here is the link if you want to watch it Bts Girl. I also added my name to the drawing. 

My favorite part was doing the cap, the part that was hard is the hair because it is curly. On the tutorial it does do shading on the hair  I just colored it brown.  By the way my name on the top I did free handed.  Feel free to comment.

Anzac Day Acrostic poem

Hey readers, I hope you are having a great isolation Anzac day :) I have chosen to post a poem for today. It is about anzac day, first I got onto the google drawing next I researched some words for the poem. After that I started the poem. Please  could we have a minute of silence to remember who passed  click onto this link to have the minute of silence: Minute of silence .            


This activity was quite tricky to do because it was hard to find the words. What was easy was doing the writing. What have you done for anzac day ?

Home economics with My Mum

Selamat pagi ( good morning in Malay) readers , today my Mum had a day off so we decided that we should have a cooking class. Today in our cooking class we made banana choc chip cake. 

We started off by getting all the ingredients, next I peeled the banana then mashed. Then I creamed butter and sugar with a electric beater it made my arm sore so my Mum did the rest. After that we mixed the ingredients together and added choc chips. When all of the ingredients were mixed together, we preheat the oven but my Mum helped me because it was hot. We put it into the oven together.  When the cake was done my Mum and I took it out together because the oven was toooo hot.  The cake looks beeeeutiful and taste sooo delicooous guys.  

I enjoyed this cooking school day with my Mum, I hope to do it again :)

I put all the mixer into the baking tray

Tada!! she's ready to go into the oven

Then I put it into the oven

It's done yay

Tada!! Now we have our yummmy cake yay :)

                                           

Making Inferences

Kia ora readers, today in Mrs Jones reading group we did making inferences. When you make a Inference is when you ask a question and you don't have any answers to pick you write it down yourself. My favorite question to answer was what was Seniths gob. 

After that we did a quiz, about what sentence makes more sense. And I got seven out of ten.  The quiz was tricky but it taught me to think before saying a sentence because it needs to make sense.  Feel free to comment. 
               

Telling The Time ( Lesson four)

Hey readers, today in Mrs Jones maths group we did our fourth lesson of telling the time. This time Mrs Jones made a slide with some telling the time, we used a app called teaching clock here's the link: Time telling.  I did get some wrong but that is ok.

My favorite part was doing the challenging ones, I liked this activity today because we did more telling time on a slide. Feel free to comment readers :) 



  

Epic quiz

Hey readers, today in Mrs Jones reading group we readed a book on epic called Suki's kimono. Then we did a quiz with 7 questions. I got 7 out of 7 and 100%, my favorite part about the book was when Suki went to school.

Teeth Writing

Hey readers, this week I have been writing about teeth. First we watched a video together then we did a plan. After that  we got to start our writing. When I did my writing I kind of forgot what was on the video so I watched it again. 

Once I watched the video I got onto my writing. My favorite part of the video was when the guy who I call fred put his teeth into the fish's mouth. My less favorite part was doing the plan because I didn't have any ideas.

Telling time ( Lesson three)

Hey readers, today in Mrs Jones maths group we have done our third lesson of time. I'm starting to get the hang of it now. First we got told to go onto our this maths slide, then we clicked onto two google drawing to do it on.  We did another time of quarter past and quarter to. Nelly the Nurse

Hey readers,  today in Mrs Jones reading group we did story activity it's about a nurse called Nelly she is a Nurse. Not such a good one in this story, she give the patiences lollipops everyday and tells patients jokes and makes them laugh so hard to break their stitches. We first read the story then we had to answer some questions. Like which answer is most likely can't happen. 

My least favorite thing to do was reading the bit where she makes patience laugh so hard that their stitches open. My favorite bit was answering the questions, I thought this activity was pretty simple today. Feel free to comment.

My Hot Chocolate Recipe

Mm yum in my tum, Hi readers today I did a screencastify about how to make hot chocolate. You guys probably  already know how to make it but I just wanted to do it for fun. This recipe is for sure easy peasy lemon squeezy. I first started the screencastify then I said what the ingredients are, after that I did the steps. 

stuff you need:

- 2 teaspoons of hot cocoa mix 
- milk
- hot / boiling water

Telling The Time ( Lesson 2)

Kia Ora readers, today in Mrs Jones maths we did our second telling the time lesson. This time we have learned about half past and o'clock. First we got told what our task was to do, then we had to watch a video about o'clock time we had to give a thumbs up if we knew which time it was here is the link to the video : Time. After that we had to go onto this google drawing and drag the text box to the right o' clock time. 

We also did another one which was half past, the o'clock one was easier for me. But the half past was medium hard. I also made a screencastify explaining what half past and o'clock means. What you can do when your stuck at home

Hi readers, today I have been thinking about what you can do at home. I said all the stuff I could think of into a screencastify. First I wrote down my ideas onto a google doc, next I did my screencastify. After that I started this blog post.

Narrative about pigeon impossible

Kia ora readers! Last week in Mrs Jones writing class we wrote a story about a pigeon and a secret agent we had to make it a narrative. First we watched the video after that we did two plans, then we started our marvelous writing

For me this was quite easy because I have written about this video before, my less favorite thing was doing the plan. My favorite thing was watching the video, I have done this writing before so it wasn't that interesting to write about. Feel free to comment!
                             

                     Pigeon Impossible                  
                                                                  
                                                                                     
 One bright day in washington dc  a agent comes across the road. He has a black suit on, and has a black bow tie on with a white t-shirt. He is mid tall and he has brown hair, he kinda has big eyes the secret agent walks around with his briefcase all the time. A fact about this agent he eats bagels.

POW!!!… its a monday morning and the agent has his break. For his break he sits down on a dark green seat and officiously has a bagel. As he takes a bite this annoying pigeon with eyes as tiny as m&ms wants some. The agent gives a little bit to the pigeon… but then!!!! The annoying pigeon takes the whole bagel :( 

After all that mess the agent opens his briefcase as that is happening the pigeon gets sneaky and goes into the agents briefcase. PWE PWE, the pigeon bumps all these weird buttons the first one he bumped it turned on lasers.  

The secret agent throws the bagel in the air the agent gets the pigeon out of the agents briefcase, then the bagel lands on a red button. 321 blast of the red button puts of a rocket or missile. This Rocket ( or missile) goes to russia, the day gets saved, because the rocket fell on the pigeon.
