DAY 1: EXPLORING THE WORLD Activity 1: Setting Sail

Hey readers, Today and yesterday I have been working on  my first summer learning journey activity. The activity is about the Polynesians and how they got there way around the pacific ocean. They used the sun and stars, they used the sun by the sunset and the area it is at. They used the stars for finding directions such as north south east west. I had to make a voyage with 10 things I would bring on the trip. Without a fridge or freezer. The 10 food items I would bring and why are...,  10 liters of water to stay hydrated, some apples to stay healthy and to not get cavities. Cookies for a snack if i'm hungry, carrots to also not get cavities, chips for a snack, grapes to stay healthy. Wafers for another snack, chocolate bars if I feel like a treat. pre chopped cucumber for a healthy snack, pre-cut watermelon if it is hot for me to cool down.     I love how you have started off you Summer Learning Journey! It's lovely to see how much you have written about the foods that you want to take with you! I really like how you have take a lot of healthy food for your trip. :) Great to see!

    Watermelon is a personal favourite of mine so i'm glad you have put it down! If you could have some other fruits what else would you have?

Hi Gabe thank you for commenting on my blog. some other fruit I would pack will be strawberries,banana,mandarin,and that's all I could have 11 I would also pack some trail mix because I love nuts,what is you favorite type of nuts? mine is cashew nuts.Can't wait to see more of your comments Gabe.
