Kia ora readers Today I have done some research about very interesting cultures, I had to pick two groups of cultures that I find interesting the groups I had to choose from were:
Ainu People
Maya People
If you would like to research about these cultures click on them, My two Interesting cultures is Australian Aboriginal people because of how amazing of them saving new south wales, and also because some children there jump on there trampoline when there is a storm coming. My other culture that I found interesting was Maya people because of the fascinating buildings that has been abandoned for about 10 years of what it looked like to me, and also because of the celebrations that look very cool. What I found easy was thinking how cool cultures can be, what I found hard was researching about it because there was some quiet hard words to sound out. Feel free to comment.
I am a Year 7 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

Hey Jordan,
ReplyDeleteMe again. :)
Well done on completing yet another activity! You really have been busy, haven't you? :)
Isn't it incredible just how many indigenous peoples and cultures there are in the world? I definitely wouldn't be able to name them all. Would you?
You've shared some interesting information about both the Aboriginal and Maya peoples. Can you tell me a bit more about how the Aboriginals save New South Wales? I'd love to hear what you learnt about them.
Thanks Jordan! I hope to hear from you soon. :)
Bye for now,
Mikey

DeleteKia ora Jordan,
DeleteYou are very welcome. Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my comment - I really appreciate it. :)
That's great! I look forward to hearing about what you find out. :)
I'm originally from the Bay of Islands but I live in Auckland now. Have you visited either of those places before? Hmm... that's a tough question. At the moment my favourite holiday destination is Japan. I went there while the Rugby World Cup was on and did a bit of travelling around and absolutely fell in love with it! I'm hoping to move there one day. :)
Where's your favourite holiday spot?
Have a great weekend, Jordan.
Mā te wā,
Mikey
Hello again Mikey,
DeleteThanks for a reply,
I have never ever been to Auckland or the bay of islands. Wow you've
been to japan, what is your favorite food there?
My favorite holiday spot is Malaysia because that is where most of my Mums side of my family is, and I like to spend time with them.
Even though we don't get to see them every day, when I go to Malaysia I stay with my cousin. We had so much fun the last time we went there.
We went to a very cool hotel that had a fun water park!
Enjoy the last week of commenting!
Mā te wā,
- Jordan :)
Mōrena Jordan!
DeleteHmm... another tough question. We had SO many delicious meals, it's hard too choose! I actually did a sushi making class when I was over there which was really fun and the sushi we ended up with was so yummy! So that would be up there with my favourites. Ramen too. Do you have a favourite Japanese dish?
I like Malaysia too. I'd love to go back. What are your favourite things to do there?
Thanks Jordan; you too! :)
Mā te wā,
Mikey
Kia ora again Mikey,
DeleteThanks,
I don't really like any other japan food apart from sushi. What was your favorite bit of making your sushi?
Hmmmm...
My favorite thing to do in malaysia,
is play outside with my little cousin because it is sooo much fun. Where did you go when you went to malaysia?
Jordan:)
