celebration of learning of cultures

On Thursday  I got  to prep the food for the  Hangi  it was hard work I     peeled the    food we  sprinkled the cabbage on  the food when it had  all  the food in the  plates .  They returned to the  fire pit   to light the fire . by the  time I got to school the fire roaring  at  the fire pit . later  we had a look at the Hangi   pit   the men  were  talking about the irons  .  3 hours  later   I   throught  the   food  was okay  cause I didn't  like the smokey taste. Here  are the photographs  of the  day .
